Every strong special education program is the result of people supporting other people—evaluators, therapists, teachers, administrators and families, all working on the same student from different angles. Tallest Trees exists to strengthen that system, one placement and one evaluation at a time.
Why we exist
Two problems that are really one problem.
Schools struggle to find qualified special education professionals. Professionals struggle to find school-based work with reasonable caseloads and real support. Most staffing companies solve for one side. We were built to understand both, because our founder has been on both.
That perspective shapes small things and large ones: the questions we ask before proposing a candidate, how we structure supervision, how quickly someone picks up the phone in the middle of a school day.

The story behind our name
A name rooted in memory and purpose.
The Tallest Trees was founded by Meghan Tibo and named in loving memory of her late brother, Ethan Hogenson.
The name recalls one of Ethan’s cherished expeditions: a journey through Sequoia National Park, where he encountered some of the tallest trees on the planet. That experience became a lasting symbol of strength, resilience and growth—and the foundation for a company dedicated to helping schools, professionals, children and families grow stronger.

Founder & Managing Director
A school psychologist with more than 15 years of experience, Meghan has provided assessment and consultation services across Texas school districts and charter schools and conducted assessments for more than 1,500 children.
Liz Koenig
Director of Assessments & Operations
Liz leads assessment services and the operational systems that keep evaluations, scheduling and coordination moving for district partners.
