FAQ
Questions, answeredplainly.
For schools
- What kinds of organizations do you work with?
- Texas public school districts, charter schools and K–12 educational organizations — typically special education directors, HR and staffing teams, and district leadership.
- Can you help with an evaluation backlog mid-year?
- Yes. Backlog support is one of the most common reasons districts contact us. We triage the queue, sequence the work and staff consecutive blocks rather than scattered days.
- Do you provide services virtually?
- Some services can be delivered virtually depending on district needs and clinical appropriateness. We are candid about when virtual delivery is a good fit and when it is not.
For providers
- What types of assignments are available?
- Full-time, part-time and contract school-based assignments across Texas, including temporary and short-term coverage.
- Do I need school-based experience?
- It helps, but it is not always required. We review credentials and fit for each assignment, and we are direct about what a particular campus needs.
- How does supervision work for assistant-level roles?
- Supervision requirements are structured before services begin — for SLPAs, OTAs and COTAs alike — so there is never ambiguity once you are on campus.
For families
- Do you conduct Independent Educational Evaluations?
- Yes, within our professional scope, for families and for school districts. Contact us with the type of evaluation requested and the timeline involved.
- Are you a psychology practice?
- No. The Tallest Trees is a K–12 special education staffing and services company. IEEs are one part of what we do, not the center of it.
